To become
a member of the Credit Union you must open a savings account.
When you open a savings account, you are actually purchasing
shares with a financial institution that you and other members
own. For your convenience you may have up to three different
savings accounts - Regular Savings (Share Account), Summer
Savings and Christmas Club. Your
savings are federally insured to at least $250,000 by the NCUA (National
Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency).
Maintain
an average daily balance of $l00.00 for a calendar month in
any savings account and you will earn the
disclosed
annual percentage yield.
Dividends
are calculated by the average daily balance method.
Dividends
are compounded every month and credited to your account at
the end of every month.
For a
Regular Savings (Share Account), if you are over the age of
25, you must maintain an average daily balance of $100.00
for each month or your account will be subject to a service
charge of $5.00. This fee is waived if you have another account
or a loan with the Credit Union.

CHRISTMAS
CLUB ACCOUNTS
Whatever
is included on your holiday wish list, having the money to pay
for it needn't be wishful thinking. By saving regularly
in your MembersFirst Christmas Club account, you'll
know that the money for the next year's holiday travel,
festivities and presents will be there - without worries about
post-Christmas bills. Small amounts saved regularly add
up to a sizeable sum. Just choose the amount you'd like
to save and watch it grow.
Christmas
Club funds are transferred to your savings account in early
November, just in time for the holiday season.

SUMMER
SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Start
saving for next year's Summer expenses by opening a MembersFirst
Summer Savings Account. Having the Summer off often means
having no paycheck. But with our Summer Savings account,
you'll be prepared. For school employees on a 10 or 11
month pay schedule, the Summer Savings ensures you will have
sufficient funds to get you through the months you don't
receive a paycheck. Or, if you prefer, you can use the
account to save for that summer vacation you've been dreaming
about or just as a secondary savings to stash funds
away.
